Sublette County’s BlessConnect Community
Connecting those who need help with those who can provide it.
Our Story
In January of 2023 we announced on the Sublette County For Sale Facebook page that we had access to funds donated to a local non-profit. These funds had been earmarked to meet needs within our community.
The response to that post was eye-opening. We met people who had been injured, were unable to work for a time, and fell behind on monthly bills. We met people who needed firewood for the winter and couldn’t afford it. We helped people with medical bills hanging overhead. Others needed help with auto upkeep so they could get to work. We met people who simply needed food.
We spoke to each person who approached us to learn something about their stories, and we’ve kept in touch with some of them since. We encountered genuine need. and not once did we feel like we were being taken advantage of. As of mid-2024, we were still receiving occasional calls from that one FB post.
We started BlessConnect to provide a way for the community at large to provide for our neighbors who find themselves in need. You can learn more here: “How to Help.”
Thanks for your interest in BlessConnect, we’d love for you to join us!
